Late Anto Vincent, a Gold Medalist from the Madras School of Social Work, was a passionate changemaker dedicated to youth empowerment. In 1999, he founded Empower Youth, Educate Society (EYES) — a NGO focused on holistic development, life-skills education, and leadership training for young minds.
With over three decades of experience in the corporate sector, including his role as Vice President – Human Resources at Ford India, he brought a unique blend of professional expertise and heartfelt purpose to his initiatives.
A pioneer in the Community College movement in India, Anto served as a Master Trainer in life skills with the Indian Centre for Research and Development of Community Education. His book, ‘Leadership Excellence and You!’ published in 2016, reflects his passion for guiding others toward purposeful living. In 2020, he shared his final gift with the world — a 30-day inspirational journey titled ‘The Precious 30 Thirukkurals.’
His life continues to inspire, and his legacy lives on through the dedicated efforts of Arul Dev and Uma Narayanan, who now lead the Trust with unwavering commitment to its vision and mission.

Dr Uma Narayanan
Uma holds a Ph.D. from IIT Madras in the areas of Positive Psychology and Organizational Behaviour. She worked in Ford India for a decade and rose to the role of Manager–Learning and Development for India and the Asia Pacific region. She joined People First Consultants in April 2016 in the capacity of Director and founded the Learning & Development Division as well as the ‘Being Advantage’ division. Under her able leadership, these divisions focus on developing and using Mindfulness and Inner Strengths self-awareness tools, reminder cards, Android and iOS apps for the collective’s growth and development. As a Trustee, EYES Trust, Uma anchors the Integral Education initiatives focusing on leadership development retreats, courses and coaching for leaders, senior and middle management for Indian and multinational organisations, healthcare institutions and educational institutions.
Arul Dev
Arul Dev, a Chemical Engineer, a BITS Pilani Alumni, is the founder CEO of People First Consultants, a 31-year-old talent hiring, development and coaching firm. His individual interests and pursuit have contributed in developing Arul Dev into a facilitator and coach in the areas of human development, alchemy and transformation for more than 3 decades. His knowledge and skills have been appropriately recognized and appreciated at IIT Madras, where he has been a Guest Faculty for more than a decade for their Self-Awareness and Integral Development courses. As Trustee of EYES Trust, he anchors the Integral Education Initiatives. His retreats on Deeper Body Work reflect the goals and ethos of EYES Trust. He has been sharing his inner work through his books ‘Into Great Depth of Your Being’ and ‘The Flame Within’. They guide people with dynamic practices to support their inner evolution and outer creative manifestation. Recently, he co-founded the ‘Divine Body’ initiative to bring to light and practice Yogic Sadhana and Deeper Body Work from several traditions across the world. Arul Dev is also a Spiritual Guide and Mentor to many. His methodologies are easy to practice while one continues his/her worldly responsibilities and activities.
The Trust has been offering different initiatives over the last 3 decades. Late Founder Anto Vincent focused on community colleges and extensive training to be self-reliant for students, especially in remote areas of Tamil Nadu.
Over the last few years, the Trustees, through their vision to offer to society, according to the vision of EYES Trust, have developed different offerings in varied forms to empower the collective to grow and experience empowerment in a holistic manner in all spheres. They focus on facilitating sessions for individuals and groups towards their own empowerment and transformation. Through a deeper understanding and insights into their own selves, natural gifts, talents and strengths; through a deeper connection with their own bodies, minds, emotional and energy spaces that steer them towards a higher state of holistic wellness and contribution to life and the larger communities we serve. They offer programs for students, NGOs, teachers in schools, colleges and lesser privileged communities such as the fishermen community, first-generation learners studying in Government Schools in different states of India. Programs are also being offered to teachers and parents of Special Schools in different parts of the country.

The central point and focus of EYES is to offer learning as a lifelong inner pursuit, which will enable the creation and unfolding of a new society. The interventions are offered free of cost.
